No one seems to know what relationship, if any, there was between Palmer Cox and George Eastman. Neither the Brownie figures used on the camera boxes or the one used in the July advertisement is truly a Cox figure. Cox-like but not Cox. The figures on the far right are the only other Brownies that appear in any other Kodak advertising, and, too, are not Palmer Cox figures. |
