24HR Photographing Joshua Tree National Park
California Museum of Photography
June 18 - October 2, 2005
People like to say that a picture is worth a thousand words. But UCR/California Museum of Photography's innovative Digital Studio wants to prove that pictures can be much more than that. Since 1999, Digital Studio has brought thousands of UCR students and Riverside community members to the museum for exciting educational programs that provided world-class instruction and first-hand experience with the cutting edge of digital technology and the arts. On April 2, 2005, it is bringing the museum to the stunning but fragile environment of Joshua Tree National Park for a special photo-shoot entitled "Twenty-Four Hours at Joshua Tree".
