The California Museum of Photography (CMP) at UCR ARTS will be temporarily closed to the public beginning March 1. The museum will undergo facility upgrades and will reopen its doors July 7, 2018. The timely facilities improvements will provide greater visitor experience, and care for the historic prints and photographs housed in its collection, as well as the objects temporarily on display in its galleries. Meanwhile, museum guests can visit the Culver Center of the Arts, the CMP’s sister art center located next door. The Culver will continue to present a line-up of new exhibitions, performances and film screenings for the spring season. Please visit the ucrarts.ucr.edu for more information.
The California Museum of Photography will kick off its summer season with the following new exhibitions:
William Klein – July 7 through September 9
Analogues: Paho Mann – July 7 through October 21
Verso – July 7 through November 25
A Handful of Dust: From the Cosmic to the Domestic – July 7 through December 9
Collected – New Gallery featuring CMP’s Permanent Collections – July 7 through February 10, 2019.
